Dear Colleagues and Friends
Due to the now global panic regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, it is with much regret that we have decided that holding Symposium and Tribute to Margaret would be too high a risk for the attendees. With over 80 attendees registered, this was to have been an important event for many reasons, not the least of which
was the tribute to Margaret. Speakers at the Symposium were invited to share their research and scholarship regarding a crucially important set of issues.
We cannot yet decide whether postponement of the event to a later date is feasible. We are also working towards developing a book which will also honour Margaret and will continue to be in contact with presenters regarding this project.
Osgoode will refund your registration fee (to your credit card).
Some of us want to plant a commemorative tree honouring Margaret. If you are so inclined, just let us know (email Liora). If so, we will write you later to indicate how best you can join us in doing so.
